Restaurants, coffee shops etc. close early, and sometimes timings and services listed on google are not accurate so call and check. Great grocery store options around for produce, drinks, baked goods, other convenience. The space was impeccable and extremely clean, highly recommended for a relax and rewind themed stay!

Ons bezoek in Villa Rams Woerthe liet ons zien wat een vakman Goos Vreugdenhil is met het restaureren en vernieuwen van het glas en lood.

The B&B is a perfect base for renting a boat in Giethoorn, canoeing in the National Park De Weerribben, hiking on the Woldberg or visiting the sheepfold and dolmens in the woods near Havelte.
The stained glass studio De Glazen Zee is located in the former church hall.

Theater De Meenthe, Jugendstil villa “Rams Woerthe” and the old city center are a few minutes’ walk away. Take a nice walk on the old city walls and visit the Clemens Church from the 15th century.
Steenwijk is located on the border of the low moor area with Giethoorn and the Weerribben-Wieden National Park and the beautiful forests of the Woltberg and Havelterberg.
Visit the beautiful De Eese estate in Eesveen or dive into the history of “the Colonies of Benevolence” in Frederiksoord, recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
